Nickelback – The State | Album Review | Rocked

A look back at Nickelback’s 1998 album (later reissued in 2000) The State.

The Breakdown

Overall, The State, while not perfect is an album that highlights a range of song structure and vocal delivery with some impressive drumming and is a solid post-grunge album from the heyday of nu-metal. Don’t just take my word for it though. Listen to songs like “Leader Of Men” and “Breathe” and hear what Nickelback is capable of for yourself.
